Our Baby Potty Story
Personal experience with successful innovation is how our story begins.
The company’s founder, Joe Viglietta, was in the midst of potty training the second of his two daughters, and was in need of a better system to consistently motivate her to use the potty instead of her diaper. Being an avid fan of Notre Dame, Joe redesigned and decorated her potty chair with the university’s emblem and encouraged her to “Go Potty Like a Champion.” She knew she could Score "Touchdown” with her dad when she was cheered on the same way crowds cheered on her family’s favorite college team.
Potty Training Girls Was Surprisingly Easy
This proved to be such a successful baby potty training technique that Joe further modified the baby potty chair for his second daughter who was also modeling herself to become a Notre Dame fan like her dad and older sister. With every ‘triumph,’ she was cheered on and rewarded with the college fight song, even getting to smack the potty chair’s “champion” sign like the Notre Dame players do when they go out on the field.
Potty Training Boys and Girls
Modeling, triumph and reward … these are the basic principles involved in baby potty training, and the Flush and Cheer Potty Chair™ incorporates all three, but even adds a fourth principle … excitement. Designed to simulate the ‘thrill of a ballgame’ – an innate urge in most boys - potty training with the Flush and Cheer Potty Chair™ crosses the gender gap and has become an exciting daily experience for girls and boys.Purchase Now Baby Pottys, Training Pottys
FACT: When children anticipate the task of ‘going potty’ as something rewarding and sporting, they’re motivated to master it quickly to achieve a sense of triumph.
